Warranty Information
1. Warranty Operation
- Warranty is activated once the technician fully completes the warranty card (including model, installation date, and customer information). The warranty period begins from the date recorded on the card.
- Failure to activate the warranty within the specified time may affect the Customer’s warranty rights in the future.
2. Warranty Period
For new machine:
- Electrical parts: 3 years
- Compressor and Electrode plate: 5 years
- Plastic parts: 1.5 years
- Free maintenance: 5 years
- Liquidation products are warranted for 12 months from installation
For machines out of warranty:
- New parts are warranted for 3 months
- Repaired issues are warranted for 1 month
Warranty Conditions:
- TDS < 500, factory water
- Filters replaced on time
- Product used correctly per manufacturer guidelines

3. Warranty Service Handling
- Karofi will repair or replace warranted parts within the committed timeframe. Depending on the situation, the technician will decide whether the service is performed at the customer's home or at a service center. If necessary, Karofi may also offer temporary replacement parts or propose an alternative solution acceptable to the customer.
4. Warranty Condition
- A product is eligible for warranty if all the following conditions are met:
- It is within the warranty period and falls under warranty coverage.
- It has been registered and activated properly, or the customer can provide a valid sales invoice or warranty card.
- The warranty seal and serial number are intact, with no signs of tampering or removal.
- The product has been used correctly for its intended purpose and as per manufacturer instructions.
- The issue is confirmed as a manufacturer’s technical fault by Karofi’s technician.
- The product is installed according to electrical safety regulations.
Warranty does not apply to:
- Expired warranty or items outside coverage
- Consumable parts (filters, plastics, etc.)
- Damage from misuse, incorrect installation, or harsh environments
- Power issues, pests, unauthorized repairs, or use of non-genuine accessories
- Missing/tampered serial number or seal
- Unsafe water source (e.g. TDS > 500, ground water)

Annex 02 - Defined Non-warranty Conditions
- Karofi reserves the right to deny free warranty service in the following cases:
- The product or its components are outside the warranty scope, or the warranty period has expired, as defined in this policy.
- Consumable parts are damaged, such as filter cartridges, plastic or glass panels, machine frames, and similar components.
- Product damage caused by user error, including improper installation, storage, handling, external impact, or failure to follow usage instructions and safety warnings.
- Damage resulting from unsuitable installation environments, such as natural disasters, fire, flooding, lightning, oxidation, or corrosion.
- Products installed in locations that prevent access or disassembly for repair or inspection.
- Physical damage such as warping, cracking, breakage, or deformation due to impact or mishandling during transport or use.
- Damage caused by insects, pests, animals, or foreign objects entering the machine.
- Damage due to unstable power supply, poor electrical connections, loose sockets, voltage fluctuations outside 220–240V, or use of non-standard or altered power cords.
- Unauthorized repairs or structural modifications without prior approval or supervision from Karofi’s technical representatives.
- Damage related to the use of non-genuine Karofi or Korihome accessories or spare parts.
- Products that have been modified or repaired by third parties not authorized by Karofi.
- Damage caused by natural wear and tear, including rust, fading, and material degradation over time.
- Warranty seal is broken, removed, or shows signs of tampering prior to the first official service.
- The product’s serial number (Serial No.) is missing, unreadable, erased, or tampered with, except in liquidation cases officially verified by Karofi.
- Damage caused by unsafe water sources, including:
- TDS exceeding 500.
- Water contaminated with chlorine, salt, limestone, alum, or untreated well water.
In any of the above cases, charged warranty service may be offered based on Karofi’s policy, with details notified to the customer prior to repair.
5. Product Exchange

Used product exchange will not be accepted if:
- The issue is caused by misuse, improper installation, or external damage
- The product has missing documents (e.g., no warranty card, invoice)
- The product has no visual problems (scratches, dents, stains, etc.)
- The issues is from consumable parts (e.g., filter cartridges, component, etc.)

Annex 03 – Cases Not Accepting Product Exchange
- Karofi supports product exchange in specific cases of confirmed manufacturer defect, as outlined in the main policy. However, product exchange will not be accepted in the following situations:
- The product is damaged due to the Customer’s misuse or improper operation, contrary to the Manufacturer’s instructions.
- The Customer fails to meet the warranty eligibility requirements, such as not registering the warranty or lacking valid sales invoice and warranty card.
- The product is physically damaged by the Customer, including but not limited to peeling, breaking, or unauthorized changes to the product’s appearance, structure, or operational function.
- The product has been received and accepted by the Customer, but an exchange is requested for cosmetic reasons only (e.g., scratches, dents, stains, peeling, warping, gaps, etc.).
- Consumable components, such as filter cartridges or other replaceable parts, are damaged or degraded and are not eligible for exchange.
